The Importance of Worship

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father sseketh such to worship Him. (John 4:23)

Growing up in a broken home family, I was not an active churchgoer, nor a Bible reader. I would sometimes read the Word but was not really into the music ministry or praising the LORD every morning (due to my lack of knowledge of the truth). I would just focus on my life and nothing else.

My accident in 1991 is the one that caught me by the leg. I began to depend on the LORD in every thing in my life. I surrendered completely to the LORD. And I began to worship Him.

Worship is really when I can feel my breakthrough.
Worship is when I give reverence to God and respect.
Worship is also an expression of love for God.

Would you like someone to tell you constantly how they love you so much but yet never show you? That is exactly what you’re doing when you don’t participate in worship.

When you allow yourself to participate in worship, you can get so caught up into the spirit that is when you can really hear from God. Allow yourself to become immersed in worship. Show God how much you love Him and watch Him allow blessings to rain down on you.

So today, try something different, allow yourself to be an active participant in worship instead of an observer. Once you become a participant, watch your communication with God increase and become clearer.

O Lord, thank you for this day. Help me to worship You more. Allow me to give You just some of the love that You give to me. In the name of Yeshua Hamasiah, amen.
