Avoiding Foods That Cause Problems
What most people do not realize is that almost every physical problem they experience, other than accidents, has a diet related cause.
Because our physical body is designed by God to be nourished with living (raw) foods, it is imperative that the greatest percentage of our daily food intake be composed of raw foods—and that we avoid the foods that are causing the problems in the first place.Here are a list of foods that are excluded from The Hallelujah Diet. Although this list is far from comprehensive, using it as a guide will help you determine whether or not other foods are beneficial.
Beverages
- Alcohol
- Coffee (grain coffees like Pero and Roma are fine)
- Teas containing caffeine (caffeine-free herb teas are fine)
- Carbonated beverages and soft drinks
- All artificial and sugar containing drinks, sport drinks, and all juices containing preservatives, refined salt, sugar, and artificial sweeteners
Dairy
- All milk, cheese, ice cream, whipped toppings, and non-dairy creamers
Soy Milk and other Soy Products
- Most soy products should be avoided
The growth hormones in animal flesh and dairy are also contributing to this problem. Estrogen can be a contributing factor in all female cancers, and the high protein content of soy can actually feed cancers.
Processed Fruits
- Canned and sweetened fruits
- Non-organic and sulfured dried fruits
Refined Grains
- Refined, bleached flour products, most cold breakfast cereals, and white rice
All Meats and Eggs
- Beef, pork, fish, chicken, eggs, turkey, hamburgers, hot dogs, bacon, sausage, bologna, etc.
Certain Nuts and Seeds
- All roasted and/or salted seeds and nuts
Certain Oils
- All lard, margarine, shortenings, and anything containing hydrogenated oils or trans fats
Certain Seasonings
- Refined table salt and any seasonings containing it
Certain Soups
- Any canned, packaged, or creamed soups containing salt or dairy products
Certain Sweets
- All refined white or brown sugar (brown sugar is simply refined white sugar with some molasses added for color)
- Sugar syrups
- Chocolate (carob is a wonderful chocolate substitute)
- Candy, gum, cookies, donuts, cakes, pies, or other products containing refined sugars or artificial sweeteners
Processed Vegetables
- All canned vegetables with added salt or preservatives
- Vegetables fried in oil
All Drugs
Though these are not foods, most are addictive and very destructive within the body:- Alcohol
- Nicotine
- Caffeine
- Marijuana, cocaine, heroin, etc.
- Many over the counter and doctor-prescribed drugs

To Smoke or Not To Smoke
Your body is the temple of God. God lives in you, inside you. It's precious and you have to take care of it as good as you can. Don't burn it with cigarette or you will regret it someday. Smoking is bad for your health and it only brings you nothing but pain in the future. Remember, you will reap what you sow. So please stop smoking.
Please..
Ask God to help you. He will help you and give you strength to totally stop smoking. Cos nothing is impossible for God. And nothing is impossible to those who have faith in God.

French Fries Recipe
French Fries is a crispy snack made of potato. Everybody loves it. Tapiiii kalo beli kan agak mahal tuh, belum lagi penggunaan pengawet dan penguat rasa yang ga bagus buat kesehatan qta. Sooo mendingan qta bikin sendiri aja dirumah. Cara pembuatannya ga susah kok..

- Kentang mentah
- 1 cangkir Terigu lencana merah
- Minyak zaitun untuk menggoreng :)
- 1 sdt Paprika bubuk
- 1 sdt Bawang Bombay bubuk
- 1 sdt Garam
- 1 sdt Bawang Putih bubuk
- Air untuk merebus
- Kentang dipotong persegi panjang, lalu dicuci sekitar 4-5 kali untuk ngilangin getah kentang. Getah inilah yang membuat kentang cepat lembek setelah di goreng.
- Setelah air cucian terlihat cukup bening, rendam kentang dengan air dingin.
- Campur tepung dan semua bumbu ke dalam sebuah mangkok, tambahkan sedikit air sampai terlihat agak mengental.
- Masukkan kentang satu per satu ke dalam campuran tepung sampai semua tercampur rata.
- Siapkan minyak panas yang masih baru, goreng kentang hingga seluruhnya terendam minyak. Minyak harus dalam keadaan benar2 panas.
- Angkat dan beri alas tissue dapur untuk menyerap minyak.
- Sajikan, dan siap disantap.

Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies & Hot Chocolate
After a big holiday blow-out, there’s nothing better than spending a cozy night in! These Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies and my yummy Hot Chocolate go perfectly together. Eat them while watching your favorite movie!
Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients
Cookies
- 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 cup unbleached white flour
- 1 cup brown rice flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup safflower oil
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
- 2 t vanilla extract
- 1 t fine sea salt
Chocolate Coating
- 2 cups grain-sweetened, nondairy chocolate or carob chips
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 T safflower oil
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350
- Combine the flours and baking powder in a large mixing bowl
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the oil, syrup, vanilla extract, and salt
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and stir to form a smooth dough
- If the mixture is too crumbly, add a bit of water, 1 teaspoon at a time, and up to 1 tablespoon more oil until the dough just holds together
- Roll the dough out to ½” thickness between two sheets of parchment or wax paper
- Use cookie cutters or a knife to cut the dough into desired shapes
- Arrange the cookies on the prepared baking sheet
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned
- Transfer the cookies to a baking rack to cool completely
- While the cookies are cooling, combine the chocolate chips, syrup, and oil in the top of a double boiler and place over simmering water
- If you don’t have a double boiler, place a stainless steel bowl over boiling water and melt the ingredients in it
- Turn off the heat, cover, and let stand for 5-10 minutes or until the chocolate melts
- Stir until smooth
- Dip each cookie halfway into the chocolate sauce, and place on a sheet of wax or parchment paper
- Chill in the refrigerator until hardened
Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 1 cup soy/rice milk blend
- 1 t unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 T grain-sweetened, nondairy chocolate or carob chips
- 1/4 t vanilla extract
- 1 t maple syrup
- Optional toppings: vegan marshmallows, nondairy whipped topping, or chocolate shavings
Steps
- Whisk the milk, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and syrup together in a small saucepan
- Place over medium heat
- Cook until the chocolate chips are melted, whisking occasionally
- Serve naked or with your choice of topping

Jus Wortel dan Seledri
Ini adalah Jus kesukaanku. Menu sarapan pertama setiap pagi sebelum Roti ato makanan lainnya. Soalnya Jus ini (en Jus apapun juga) harus diminum dalam keadaan perut kosong, supaya dapat dicerna dengan baik oleh usus. Baru 15-20 menit kemudian, aku makan Roti Gandum, Havermut or Nasi Goreng.
Bahan dan cara bikinnya gampang kok.. Untuk 1 gelas Jus ato kira-kira 8 oz diperlukan:
6-7 Wortel
1 Batang Seledri Import
Alat Juicer (bukan Blender loh..)
Caranya: Wortel dikupas trus semua bahan dicuci bersih pake air mateng, lalu masukin satu per satu ke dalam Juicer untuk diproses. Jadi deh..
Seledri bisa diganti dengan 1 buah Apel, Bayam ato seperempat Beet. Tapi tetap yg utama adalah Wortel, dengan perbandingan 30%-70%. Artinya campuran Wortel harus lebih banyak dari yg lainnya.
Nge-jus sendiri tentu hasilnya lebih baik daripada jus-jus kemasanan yg dijual dipasaran yg pastinya udah diberi pengawet, pemanis dan perasa yg telah terbukti merupakan zat adiktif yg menyebabkan berbagai macam penyakit.
So, buat aku, sekalipun agak repot dikit, ga papalah.. It's worth it kok, beneran.
I'll share about juicing and all the benefits in my other post, but for now, mudah2an ini bisa bermanfaat buat kamu.
